Our ensemble needs you! Join Béa Rashid and DCE’s talented faculty to develop a world premiere dance theater work inspired by the novel Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie. From younger artists to the most advanced dancers, students will get the full professional dance company experience. This exciting, expanded program includes FOUR weeks of technique classes in many styles, auditions for casting, and a collaborative rehearsal process, all culminating in TWO costumed performances in the Studio5 Theater. Be part of the magic!

New! SUMMER BALLET / JAZZ INTENSIVE

Ages: 9-18 as of 9/1/2024 (classes offered at two levels)
Dates: June 24-28
Times: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm
Cost: $486 ($441 before April 1st!)

From pirouettes and pliés to lindies and leaps, immerse yourself in five days of in-depth classes and repertory led by DCE pros! This one-week program is designed to kick-start your summer dancing, with classes including ballet technique, pointe/pointe prep, strength and stretch, variations, jazz technique, musical theater, contemporary, rhythm-making, and more. The intensive culminates in an informal showing in DCE’s Studio5 Theater for family and friends.

ITTY BITTY BALLETS

Ages: 4-5 as of 9/1/2024
Dates: Wednesdays, July 10, 17, 24

Cost: $30/camp ($25/camp before April 1st!)

Step behind the velvet curtain! Meet sparkling fairies and cavalier princes! Dance with graceful animals and toys come-to-life! Dancers will spend each camp exploring one famous ballet through storytelling, creative movement games, pantomime, and craft projects.

PRIMARY DIVISION & ACCESSIBLE DANCE WEEKLY CLASSES

Dates: June 17-August 3
Cost: $125/class for the full 7-week session

Tiny Toes is for dancers who turn three as of June 1, 2024 and is the perfect introduction to the world of dance! Building on our popular Tippy Toes and Pre-Ballet programs, Little Dancers, Big Moves classes are designed especially for the young beginner and use creative movement to invite children to dance through the use of fun music, rhythmic games, playful props, and storytelling.

Everybody Dance is an accessible dance class for movers with disabilities and/or neurodivergence.
